At The Xena Project NTX, we are dedicated to rescuing and advocating for animals that have been left behind in apartments or rental homes, often after an eviction. Founded by a team of property management professionals with over a decade of experience, our mission is to provide a safe haven for these vulnerable animals and ensure they receive the care and love they deserve.

Having spent 10 years in the property management industry, our founder witnessed firsthand the plight of numerous pets abandoned by their owners. These experiences inspired the creation of our rescue organization, transforming compassion into action.

Our work involves:

  • Rescuing Abandoned Animals: We respond to calls from property managers, neighbors, and concerned citizens to rescue pets left behind in vacant rental properties.
  • Providing Medical Care: Each animal receives necessary medical attention, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering services.
  • Rehabilitation and Rehoming: We work tirelessly to rehabilitate these animals and find them loving, permanent homes.
  • Advocacy and Education: Beyond rescue, we advocate for responsible pet ownership and educate the community about the importance of considering pets in eviction and moving situations.

Your support on North Texas Giving Day will help us expand our rescue operations, provide medical care and rehabilitation for more animals, and continue our advocacy work. Together, we can give these abandoned pets a second chance at life.

Join us in making a difference. Every donation helps save lives and brings us closer to a world where no animal is left behind.
