The Teacher Retreat is a newly formed non-profit organized to promote wellness and self-care for educators in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. As a team of educators, we have experienced an increase in staff turnover, lack of morale, and mental and physical fatigue. The Teacher Retreat was formed to build sustainable working environments and provide resources to create a work-life balance for educators. With your generous donation we will be able to establish general operating funds, collaborate with schools to provide a culture of well-being, and create experiences for rejuvenation.
Our mission is to empower educators by offering them the resources and opportunities to practice self-care, prioritize their health and wellness, and engage in fulfilling recreational activities beyond the classroom. We believe that when educators take time for themselves, they can bring renewed energy and passion to their important work.
