Village Disciple Center sits on nine debt-free acres in Oak Cliff, and this building does more in a week than most facilities do in a year. Mothers who need a trusted place for their children go here. Pre-K4 students who need more than a classroom, students who are still building the communication and social skills that will carry them through school, go here. Families learning to build financial stability, and eventually generational wealth, go here. Doulas in training, parents in parenting classes, small business owners meeting about their next move, couples getting married, graduates being celebrated: they all come under this one roof.

This isn't about rescuing something broken. It's about investing in a building that is already working at full capacity, and making sure it keeps working for the next twenty years.

Five of our HVAC units haven't been upgraded in over twenty years, and it's time. Our roof and parking lot need that same investment. This campaign funds both: $45,000 to upgrade to energy-efficient units that will keep every program in this building running through a Dallas summer, and $30,000 to protect the structure and access that make all of it possible.

This is not new. Village Disciple Center already has a track record of turning investment into results. Our Planted Hope Community Garden, registered farmland with the USDA Conservation Stewardship Program, has already been awarded three separate grants because funders trust what we do with the resources they provide.
