Texas Health Community Impact

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

As a member of the Texas Health Resources Foundation Board and the Community Impact Leadership Council, I have seen firsthand the positive outcomes Texas Health Community Impact (THCI) has made in our surrounding communities.   

Texas Health is moving outside of hospital and clinic walls to invest in programs and partnerships that help individuals and communities address the systemic factors that keep individuals in poverty. By investing in the social determinants of health, Texas Health creates opportunities for individuals to prioritize health and wellness.  

How can YOU help to build a community of wellness? I invite you to donate to Texas Health Community Impact.  Texas Health Community Impact brings together agencies from different sectors — education, healthcare, government, grassroots organizations and others — to make measurable change in communities where social determinants of health contribute to poor overall health. 

Let’s not let zip code define someone’s health status. We need your help in harnessing the compassion of the entire region to make health and wellness a reality for everyone regardless of their home address.
