At Beacon Hill, we believe that talent is distributed equally but opportunity is not. Our team is dedicated to ending inequity in education. Beacon Hill’s mission is to provide holistic child development through academic, cultural, and life-skill programs with active parental involvement. We envision a world in which every child - regardless of race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status - will have an equal opportunity for educational and future success. We provide reading and math tutoring to low-income minority students in South Dallas via in-school, after-school, and summer programs. Our goal is to get all students to grade-level proficiency. 90% of students who attend at least 48 sessions will accomplish this. 

January 6, 2025, I started my position at Beacon Hill. Throughout my time as the Marketing Coordinator, I have had the opportunity to take photos on campuses and see the state of education through a different lens. I have witnessed scholars excited to come to our learning labs and work diligently to reach their goals. However, I have also seen our scholars frustrated because they cannot seem to get the spelling of a specific word. Through all of it, I have seen our campus managers and instructors provide a safe place for them to express their joys, frustrations, and everything in between. Our team works hard to make sure that our learning labs and organization as a whole is a place where our students believe that opportunities are endless.
