The Reading Room will serve as a dedicated, intentionally designed space within our bookstore to advance literacy, education, and community engagement. This quiet, welcoming environment will provide children, families, and community members with a structured space for reading, studying, and participating in small-group learning experiences.
The space will directly support our literacy initiatives, including free book distribution, youth reading programs, and culturally responsive educational activities. It will also serve as a hub for workshops, author talks, and intergenerational programming that promotes lifelong learning and access to culturally relevant resources.
By creating a focused and accessible learning environment, the Reading Room will strengthen our ability to serve the community, increase program participation, and deepen our impact in addressing literacy gaps and educational equity.
