The PTSD Foundation of America-DFW Chapter is dedicated to mentoring combat veterans suffering with post-traumatic stress. Our mission is to bring healing to our military community and their families through counseling, and peer mentoring; to raise awareness of the needs of the military community and to network with government agencies, churches and the private sector to build a united "Corps of Compassion" to meet the needs of the military community on a individual and family level.
Volunteers of all skill levels and backgrounds are always needed!
Gift cards and in-kind donations are also welcomed!
We assist Veterans and families in need with grocery store cards, gas cards, or even clothing store cards when facing financial or other difficulty.
Restaurant and local business gift cards for Warrior Group meals and functions are greatly appreciated.
In-kind donations can be utilized to support our Annual Silent Auction and BBQ Cook-Off, to support our Veterans directly and for our Warrior Group functions!
