This is what your support looks like. A Weatherford ISD Education Foundation grant funded digital microscopes for students, giving them the opportunity to investigate, explore, and discover science in ways that simply aren't possible with a textbook alone. Every grant funded helps bring learning to life.

Grants to Teachers
Great teachers have innovative ideas that can transform learning, but funding is often limited.
Since 2001, the Education Foundation has funded classroom grants that bring creative, hands-on learning experiences to students throughout Weatherford ISD. In May alone, we awarded more than $250,000 for programs in reading, math, science, fine arts, career and technical education, coding, physical education, and more.
Your support helps turn innovative ideas into meaningful learning experiences for students.
School Supply Closet
Every child deserves the excitement and confidence that comes with walking into school prepared to learn.
For many families, purchasing school supplies can be a financial challenge. Through the School Supply Closet, the Education Foundation provides school supplies and backpacks to more than 1,000 students each year, ensuring they begin the school year ready for success.
Your donation helps put essential school supplies directly into the hands of students who need them most.
Heather's Books
A child's love of reading often begins with owning a book of their very own.
Through Heather's Books, every Weatherford ISD Pre-K student receives a voucher each semester to select books from their campus book fair. For many children, these are the first books they have ever owned.
Your gift helps build home libraries, encourage literacy, and foster a lifelong love of reading.
Teacher Scholarships
Investing in teachers is an investment in students.
The Education Foundation provides scholarships to educators pursuing advanced degrees and certifications, helping them grow professionally and bring new knowledge and skills back to their classrooms.
Your donation supports excellence in teaching and learning across Weatherford ISD.
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Field Trip
Some learning experiences simply can't be replicated in a classroom.
Beginning with the 2026-27 school year, the Education Foundation will fund the annual fourth-grade field trip to Bass Performance Hall to experience a live performance by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. This long-standing tradition introduces students to the power of live music and the performing arts, creating memories and inspiration that can last a lifetime.
Your gift helps open the door to enriching experiences that broaden students' horizons and spark their imagination.
Every Gift Makes a Difference
Whether you give $10 or $1,000, your generosity helps students learn, teachers innovate, and classrooms thrive. Together, we are creating opportunities and building brighter futures for Weatherford ISD students.
The Weatherford ISD Education Foundation invests in innovative opportunities that inspire students, support teachers, and enrich learning across Weatherford ISD. We’re the booster club for teachers—funding innovative ideas, enriching student experiences, and creating opportunities that help every learner thrive.
