Who is SAGE?
GC-SAGE was formed by a small group of parents and educators in 2010 as an organization to support the educators and students in the Gifted and Talented Programs of Grapevine/Colleyville ISD and to advocate for all GT Learners to have differentiated experiences for ongoing growth. To that point, we educate our community about giftedness, promote well-being in addition to academic achievement, and help GT students learn to self-advocate. We support ALL GT students, as well as the educators and administrators that serve them. In 2018 GC-SAGE was awarded the TAGT (Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented) Parent Group of the Year Award. This award was presented in recognition of service, contribution, and commitment to gifted education.
Our mission is to ensure gifted children in the Grapevine/ Colleyville area reach their fullest potential by: advocating on their behalf; connecting parents to valuable resources and each other; and by educating and supporting teachers and administrators.
