The women of Denton Benefit League serve Denton by raising funds for non-profit organizations, volunteering in the community and building leadership skills in women. Founded in 1973, Denton Benefit League is nonpolitical, nonsectarian and nonprofit. Our organization does not discriminate against race, creed, religion or sexual orientation and membership includes women of all ages.

In 2025-26, DBL gave a total of over $177,279.37 to 39 non-profits.

All funds raised by annual events such as the Charity Ball and the Annual Publication (Tabloid) are returned to the community. Administrative expenses are paid for by member dues.

Mission

The mission of this organization shall be to raise funds for local philanthropic purposes and to promote volunteerism in the community. This organization shall be nonpolitical, nonsectarian, and nonprofit in all its policies and activities.
