We're a volunteer-run rescue organization with our own kitten room, which means that we are not foster based. We are an in-house rescue dedicated to saving orphaned and injured kitties from the community and from shelters that would euthanize them due to lack of manpower, space and funding. Many of the kitties that come to our rescue are here for long term care while they recover from critical injuries or while they grow up to be an adoptable age. We rely on the many kitten guardian angels in our community to help us save as many of these precious lives as possible. Thank you for your support... we can't do what we do without you !

Mission

We work together with our community to save as many orphaned kittens as possible. We trap, fix & release (TNR) every chance we get to help reduce the number of kittens born into feral conditions. Our goal is to place as many happy healthy & fully vetted kittens into their purrfect forever homes as possible, to not only reduce the loss of lives, but to increase the love in many homes throughout our community.

Needs

We always need kitten food, KMR and pet supplies. Monitary donations are especially needed for our critical care kitties and the many normal vet care kitties to each get fully vetted before leaving our rescue. Fully vetted consists of all dewormers, vaccinations, spay/neuter and a microchip for each kitten that passes through our rescue.

Each year we rescue around 250 orphaned & injured kitties around Ellis County. Many come to us needing vet care for injuries. We are always in need of more food, supplies and vet funds. We also have several community outreach programs that your donation will help to support. We help with TNR projects, emergency vet care for family pets, re-homing pets, low cost spay/neuter appointments & transport, and we extend help /supplies to individuals in the community trying to bottle feed & raise kittens they've rescued.

Equity Statement

We require an average of $3,800. per month to meet all expenses for food, supplies, vet care, gas for the many shelter, vet & TCAP trips and community outreach for the year. We are volunteers so no one is compensated for their time, only for gas. Our funds come from adoption fees, donations and 2 annual garage sales to make sure we can meet all expenses. We average about $1,000. each sale. It's hard work but we love connecting with the community. The economy greatly effects donations in our area which effects the number of kittens we can rescue and how much we are able to contribute to community outreach programs. Our rescue number was 262 in 2024, only 246 in 2025. We hope to bring that number back up to at least 250 for 2026. We strive for at least 250 rescues annually. We are a team of 3 and our rescue has no fosters because it proved too difficult to find fosters with enough time for bottle babies. All our kittens stay in-house. We're not sure what an equity statement should look like, we did our best to explain. :)
