Mission

Terri Foundation transforms communities by empowering youth and women through education, mentorship, and dignified care. We break the cycle of poverty through strategic outreach, emotional support, and creative empowerment.

Needs

Launching the Next Generation of Leaders

The Terri Foundation is at a critical juncture. While talent is universal, access to mentorship and professional development is not. Currently, an "opportunity gap" prevents ambitious youth in our community from breaking through systemic barriers to reach their full potential.

We are seeking $6,000 to bridge this gap for our upcoming Barrier Breakers cohort.

This investment will transition students from our waiting list into our intensive mentorship program, providing them with the professional networks, leadership training, and real-world exposure necessary to navigate the modern workforce.

By meeting this $6,000 goal, you ensure that no motivated student is turned away and that their zip code no longer determines their destiny. Your support doesn't just fund a program; it dismantles a ceiling.

Equity Statement

At the Terri Foundation, we believe that talent is distributed equally, but opportunity is not. We recognize that systemic inequities—rooted in race, socioeconomic status, and geography—have created formidable barriers that prevent brilliant young minds from reaching their full potential.

Our Commitment

Equity is not just a value we hold; it is the core of our work. We are committed to:

Dismantling Barriers: We actively work to identify and remove the structural obstacles that hinder the success of youth in underserved communities.

Providing Tailored Support: We understand that equality means giving everyone the same thing, but equity means giving everyone what they need to succeed. We meet our "Barrier Breakers" where they are, providing culturally competent mentorship and resources.

Inclusive Leadership: We strive to ensure that our leadership, volunteers, and partners reflect the diverse identities and lived experiences of the youth we serve.

Continuous Learning: We acknowledge that the work of equity is ongoing. We commit to listening to our community, evaluating our impact, and evolving our practices to ensure we are always an engine for true social and economic mobility.

At the Terri Foundation, we don't just want our youth to get through the door; we want to ensure they have the tools to build their own.
