The Special Forces Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization serving U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets) and their families. The Foundation provides a range of programs aligned with the SOCOM Commander’s Preservation of The Force and Family (POTFF) program, designed to address the fraying of the forces after nearly two decades of sustained combat. Our programs contribute to the maintenance of the mind and body, and, provide acute and ongoing support in resolving, psychological, emotional and relationship issues before they become chronic.

The Special Forces Foundation provides immediate and ongoing support to the Special Forces community and their families
The Special Forces Foundation provides immediate, no-red-tape support to Green Berets and their families during times of crisis. Our current needs include funding for emergency financial assistance, travel for critical medical care, and rapid behavioral health response through our Quick Reaction Force. As demand grows, we must expand our ability to respond to urgent calls, provide access to life-saving treatment, and ensure no Green Beret or family faces hardship alone.
Special Forces Foundation Equity Statement
The Special Forces Foundation is committed to ensuring that all eligible members of the Green Beret community and their families have equitable access to the programs, resources, and support we provide.
Our mission is to serve Green Berets, their families, and surviving family members through responsive, needs-based assistance that promotes resilience, recovery, and long-term well-being. Support is provided based on individual circumstances and demonstrated need, without preference based on rank, geographic location, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, political affiliation, or personal relationships.
The Foundation continually works to expand awareness of available resources, reduce barriers to access, and ensure that individuals across the Special Forces community can connect with support when it is needed most. Through partnerships, outreach efforts, volunteer networks, and community engagement, we strive to reach underserved populations and ensure services remain accessible to those who may otherwise face obstacles in seeking assistance.
We believe every member of the Green Beret community and every surviving family deserves access to compassionate support, meaningful resources, and opportunities for healing, growth, and connection.
