$120,000 Goal

At Redeemed Women, we believe that when you support a woman, you uplift an entire community, and this past year we have witnessed incredible, tangible transformation in the lives of those we serve. Isolation is a barrier, but through our programming, women are building authentic sisterhoods and vital support systems, leaning on one another for everything from childcare so a mother can work, to finding a safe haven during a crisis. We meet women exactly where they are to help them reach incredible milestones; in fact, because of the ongoing encouragement and accountability of our community, one of our women made the decision to finish her education and proudly graduated high school this past May. Your generosity directly eliminates daily logistical barriers by funding essential transportation to job interviews, doctor appointments, and grocery stores. Furthermore, we provide critical hygiene items, clothing, and cleaning supplies to ensure our families maintain healthy homes so women can stay employed and children can thrive in school. Deeply rooted in holistic care, we pair these tangible resources with vital spiritual support through Bible studies and community programming. This North Texas Giving Day, your gift funds the daily logistics of love, helping our women transition from surviving to thriving.

Areas of Support

We need funds to support three areas of service:

  1. Workforce & Economic Empowerment: We break the cycle of poverty through our 9-week Empowered to Thrive program and dedicated Computer Lab Access, equipping women with essential communication, digital work-readiness, and professional skills to increase long-term employability and stability.
  2. Spiritual Healing & Personal Dignity: We nurture the whole woman through Just for Us; a transformative, 12-week Bible study helping women heal, reclaim their identity, and build sisterhood, complemented by the Closet of Hope, which provides professional attire and hygiene essentials so they can step out with confidence.
  3. Logistical Barriers & Community Wraparound: We provide vital stability through the Vanna White Transportation Program, offering free rides to interviews, court, and medical visits, while offering practical hygiene care via the Essential Laundry Care Program and critical health, financial, and social resources during our monthly Community Resource Days.

Mission

Transforming women to lead independent lives by building relationships and addressing their spiritual, physical and vocational needs. By building up women, we lift up the community.

Needs

In-Person Weekday Support: We look for consistent, weekly volunteers to come alongside us during the week. Key needs include greeting guests at our front desk, monitoring the computer lab, managing inventory, and assisting with direct workforce training sessions.

Monthly & Event Opportunities: To accommodate busy work schedules, we host Saturday service opportunities. During our 3rd Saturday Resource Days, volunteers can get involved with event setup and takedown or help manage donation collection.

Remote & Specialized Help: If you want to make an impact from home, we utilize virtual volunteers to support our administrative needs, digital projects, and strategic outreach planning.

Equity Statement

Redeemed Women was founded for community, in community, and with the needs of our community at the forefront. As we serve the area we are called to, we prioritize inclusion at the core of our work. In focusing on meeting needs, many of which are created by cyclical and generational poverty, we welcome and embrace women no matter where they are, what they’ve faced, or how they came to us. We understand the systemic drivers of poverty and work at every level to address, advocate, and align the appropriate resources to ensure that the women in the Fair Park neighborhood of South Dallas and beyond are supported. Central to building relationships is creating safety for each person who walks through our doors, working in partnership to help them become independent, equipped for success, and deeply cared for.
