Dean P Corey Elementary PTA

Corey Academy PTA is a dedicated, family-led organization committed to strengthening the educational experience and overall well-being of every student at Corey Academy of Fine Arts and Dual Language. In partnership with National PTA and Texas PTA, we work to unite families, educators, and our community so that every child can thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively.

Our PTA supports campus programs, teacher initiatives, student enrichment opportunities, and family engagement events that make Corey a vibrant place to learn and grow. We advocate for policies and resources that promote the safety, health, and success of all children, and we strive to ensure that every family has a voice in their child’s education.

By joining and supporting Corey Academy PTA, you are helping us provide meaningful experiences for students, encourage collaboration between home and school, and build a strong, connected Corey community. Together, we champion the work that makes our campus exceptional—and the students who make it shine.

Mission

The purposes of Corey Academy PTA, in common with National PTA and Texas PTA, are:

to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship;

to raise the standards of home life;

to advocate for laws that further the education, physical and mental health, welfare, and safety of children and youth;

to promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth;

to engage the public in united efforts to secure the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of all children and youth; and

to advocate for fiscal responsibility regarding public tax dollars in public education funding.

Needs

Corey Academy PTA relies on the generous support of families, staff, and community partners to enhance the educational experience for every student on our campus. Your contributions help fund student enrichment programs, classroom resources, fine arts opportunities, family engagement events, teacher appreciation, and ongoing campus initiatives that strengthen learning and community.

Every gift—big or small—directly impacts the daily lives of Corey students and helps us continue offering meaningful programs throughout the year.

Equity Statement

Corey Academy PTA, in alignment with National PTA and Texas PTA, is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming, and equitable community where every child and family feels valued, respected, and represented.

We believe that every child—regardless of race, ethnicity, language, gender, ability, socioeconomic status, or family background—deserves the resources and opportunities needed to reach their full potential.

We work to remove barriers, elevate diverse voices, and advocate for policies and practices that promote fairness, belonging, and access for all Corey families. Together, we strive to ensure that every student is supported, included, and empowered.
