At Latino Arts Project, we believe in the power of art to connect, inspire and celebrate our community. As the first pop-up museum and cultural initiative of its kind, our mission is simple: to uplift Latino voices and stories through vibrant exhibitions, hands-on learning and events that bring people together.
Founded in Dallas by Jorge Baldor in 2019, we’re passionate about making Latino heritage accessible and meaningful for everyone. You’ll find us partnering with museums, universities and unexpected spaces across North Texas—always creating bilingual experiences that highlight the incredible diversity of Latin America, from Mexico to Argentina and beyond.
Whether you join us for an exhibition, an art workshop or a community celebration, you’ll have opportunities to connect with artists, learn something new and share in the pride of our culture. Through every project, our goal is to spark meaningful conversations and build lasting bridges across cultures.
Latino Arts Project’s mission is to deepen understanding and appreciation of Latino heritage by creating immersive, accessible, and bilingual cultural experiences. We strive to uplift Latino voices and stories through exhibitions, educational programs, and community events that foster cultural pride, celebrate diversity, and inspire meaningful connections across communities.
Latino Arts Project currently needs support in the following areas:
Funding for Exhibitions and Programs: Resources to develop and present immersive, bilingual exhibitions, artist talks, and educational workshops that bring Latino art and culture to diverse audiences.
Community Outreach: Support to expand our reach into schools, community centers, and underserved neighborhoods, ensuring access to cultural programming for students and families throughout North Texas.
Artist Support: Financial assistance and resources to compensate local and international Latino artists, helping them share their talents and stories with the community.
Operational Support: Contributions to help cover essential operational costs, including staffing, materials, and logistics, so we can continue to deliver high-quality programming.
Volunteers and Partners: Engagement from individuals and organizations who can help us grow our impact through partnerships, event support, and community advocacy.
With your help, we can continue celebrating Latino heritage and building stronger, more connected communities.
At Latino Arts Project, we believe that art and culture should be accessible to everyone and that every voice deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Through our bilingual programs, community partnerships, and culturally inclusive exhibitions, we work to create welcoming spaces that honor the depth and diversity of Latino experiences across all generations, identities, and backgrounds.
We’re passionate about uplifting underrepresented artists and fostering meaningful conversations that spark understanding, connection, and new opportunities in our communities. Our commitment is to ensure that everyone feels at home, inspired, and empowered through the arts.
