Help Hexter Students Soar to Success!

At Hexter Elementary, our PTA helps provide the resources and opportunities that allow more than 500 students, teachers, and staff to thrive. As a Title I school serving a large and diverse community, we know that the resources available through federal and district funding alone cannot meet every need on our campus.

That’s where our PTA makes a difference.

Through the generosity of our parents, families, and community, the Hexter PTA raises funds that are invested directly back into our school. These dollars help fill important gaps and support the programs, supplies, and experiences that make a meaningful difference for our students and teachers.

PTA-funded support has included student tutoring, literacy initiatives, our Hexter Mindfulness Program, Hexter Garden Program, STEM Nights, special guest speakers, teacher classroom and specials supplies, and essential campus needs such as water filters, janitorial supplies, and playground improvements.

This year and in the years ahead, we have our sights set on an important goal: improving our playground. Our playground is a place where students play, connect, recharge, and build confidence every day. We want to help make it an even more engaging, inclusive, and enriching space for every Hexter student—and your support can help us get there.

When you give to the Hexter PTA for North Texas Giving Day, you aren't simply donating to an organization. You are helping fund the people, programs, resources, and improvements that directly benefit our children and their teachers.

At Hexter, we plant the seeds that help every student begin visualizing themselves sailing into success—at Hexter, in college, and far beyond. Your gift helps us give those seeds the support they need to grow.

Mission

At Victor H. Hexter Elementary, our PTA supports the Texas and National PTA mission to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Our PTA works in concert with our school leaders to provide robust programs to meet the varying needs of all children. Via various fundraising efforts throughout the year, our PTA is passionate about providing funds for literacy, technology, advocacy and special projects, lessening the burden on our district and enabling our community to make an impact both financially and thru volunteer efforts. Throughout the year, we show our continuous support to our faculty and teachers, who have such an important impact on the wellbeing of our greatest asset, our children, for generations to come. We are a large body of volunteers, a caring family, focused on supporting the mind, body and character of every student at Victor H. Hexter Elementary.
