Founded in 2020, Helping Hands of Celina is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting students and families in Celina ISD. We partner closely with school counselors and teachers to identify students in need and provide essential items through our Campus Closets.
By supplying clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and other necessities, we help students attend school with confidence and dignity. Because our support is provided directly through the schools, students receive assistance quickly, compassionately, and discreetly.
Everything we do is made possible through the generosity of our community. Together, we are creating a stronger Celina—one where every student has the opportunity to learn, participate, and thrive.
Born in the hearts of local moms with a desire to love and serve the children of our community.
Our purpose is to meet students’ essential needs by providing access to necessities – including clothing, hygiene items, and shoes – through school counselors and teachers via our Campus Closets.
We are committed to removing barriers that prevent students from thriving and are especially passionate about helping every child participate in meaningful school experiences and milestones, regardless of financial circumstances.
We extend our hands in partnership with the community as we come together to support those in need.
Hygiene items - for both boys & girls. Including lice kits, feminine products, hair brushes, body soap, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner and toothpaste/toothbrushes.
Clothing - for boys & girls. Sizes 3T - Adult XL. All seasons including coats, gloves, tops, bottoms & undergarments (underwear, bras, socks).
Shoes - for boys & girls. Sizes 10 -13 little kid, 1-4 big kid & 5-12 adult.
**Other needs arise for particular families that we try to meet as possible.
