Flying B Animal Rescue & Sanctuary exists to rescue vulnerable animals, restore their trust, and connect them with the loving homes they deserve. By combining compassionate action with community engagement and education, we’re building a movement where every life matters and every animal has the chance to thrive.

Needs

This North Texas Giving Day for the Animals, we're raising funds to support our Snip It in the Bud program—a proactive solution to one of the biggest challenges facing animals in North Texas.

The reality is that we will never rescue, shelter, or adopt our way out of the animal overpopulation crisis. Every day, shelters are overwhelmed with unwanted litters, and rescues are stretched beyond capacity. To create lasting change, we must address the problem at its source by preventing animals from being born into homelessness, neglect, or abandonment.

Snip It in the Bud provides affordable and sponsored spay/neuter services for pets in underserved communities, helping families keep their beloved animals while preventing accidental litters. Every surgery funded through this program helps reduce future shelter intake, decreases euthanasia rates, and lessens the burden on already overcrowded shelters and rescue organizations.

When you support Snip It in the Bud, you're not just helping one animal—you're helping generations of animals. A single unaltered female dog and her offspring can produce hundreds of puppies over several years, while cats can multiply even more rapidly. By investing in prevention today, we can spare countless animals from suffering tomorrow.

Our goal this North Texas Giving Day is to raise $96,000, enough to fund 12 months of spay/neuter services for 100 animals every month. That's 1,200 animals prevented from contributing to the cycle of overpopulation, shelter overcrowding, and unnecessary euthanasia. This investment in prevention will create a ripple effect that saves thousands of lives over time while keeping pets healthy, families together, and shelters focused on the animals that truly need them.
