EmpowerPix is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that ensures underserved high school and college graduates across North Texas are seen, celebrated, and prepared for what's next. Through our GOAL (Gift of a Lifetime) program, we provide FREE professional senior portraits, keepsakes, and recognition experiences for high school and college graduates who may face financial hardship, limited access to milestone experiences, or other barriers that can make recognition and support harder to access.
We recognize that senior portraits are not just photographs; they are a reflection of each student's individuality, dreams, and aspirations. We offer an empowering photographic experience, helping them recognize their potential and envision a brighter future. We also celebrate our honorees with our EmpowerPix GOAL honoree celebration to help them commemorate this achievement. We believe the experience of receiving a professional senior portrait should be a source of confidence and self-expression.
What began as a grassroots effort funded through community donations has grown into EmpowerPix, a nonprofit dedicated to celebrating graduate achievement. Since its inception, the GOAL program has celebrated more than 150 graduates from over 75 high schools and colleges across North Texas. Last season, community support helped raise more than $20,000 to expand access to free portraits, recognition, mentorship and celebration experiences for graduates. Survey data shows that after completing the program, 96% of honorees felt more confident and recognized, and 90% felt more prepared for their next chapter.
This North Texas Giving Day, we are working to raise $20,000 to support students in the 2027 graduating class. Our programs are NO COST to students and families facing economic and social barriers. By removing financial barriers, we help graduates and their families honor years of hard work while building confidence for the future.

• Funding for the GOAL (Gift of a Lifetime) program (Class of 2027 graduating season)

• Celebration event support and sponsorships
• Professional printing and framing resources
• Volunteer photographers and event volunteers

We intentionally serve students from underserved communities, including those experiencing homelessness under the McKinney-Vento Act, youth in foster care, students from military families, students with disabilities, and graduates facing financial hardship. We believe every graduate deserves the opportunity to be recognized, celebrated, and supported as they step into their next chapter.
