CREW in the Community (CIC) — Empowering Women, Building Futures

The mission of CREW in the Community (CIC) is clear and powerful: to improve the lives of women in the Dallas area by creating pathways to success and economic independence through educational and professional opportunities.

The CREW Dallas member organization was founded in 1980 by a dynamic network of women in commercial real estate; CIC, our standalone 501(c)(3) charitable organization, was founded in 2006. While CREW Dallas and CIC operate independently—each with their own bylaws, financials, and Board of Trustees—our heart beats in sync with the incredible support of our CREW Dallas members. Their time, talent, and generosity fuel everything we do!

Where Your Dollars Go

Every dollar donated helps us open doors for women entering the commercial real estate industry. Through our signature programs—CREW Careers® and UCREW—we engage high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, helping them discover the industry, prepare for their first role, and grow into future leaders who give back.

In 2022, we launched the CREW in the Community Education Fund, designed to provide scholarships to local DFW women who aspire to attend higher education to enter or advance in commercial real estate but lack the financial means. This initiative directly supports our mission and helps diversify the industry by bringing in fresh, passionate talent.

Our Impact

Thanks to the generosity of our members and our community, CIC has raised over $4 million to support our beneficiaries and fund our outreach programs.

2026 NTGD Matching Donor

We are thrilled to announce that the first $5,000 donated to CREW in the Community through the North Texas Giving Day Campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a generous matching donor!

That means your gift goes twice as far in supporting CREW in the Community and making a meaningful difference.

💙 Give today and double your impact!

Giving Activity

Mission

CREW in the Community (CIC), the philanthropic arm of Commercial Real Estate Women, Dallas Chapter (CREW Dallas), strives to improve the lives of women in the Dallas area by creating pathways to success and economic independence through educational & professional opportunities.

Needs

Donations to CREW in the Community support our primary programs:

1) Needs-based scholarships for women seeking higher education in fields of commercial real estate

2) CREW Careers® introduces high school girls to the many career opportunities available to them in the commercial real estate industry. Our summer shadowing program provides industry experience that cannot be matched in the classroom.

3) UCREW introduces higher education students attending local institutions to CRE through career panels, resume review, and mock interviews.

Equity Statement

CREW in the Community believes that diversity and inclusion are essential for true equity in commercial real estate, and we are committed to engaging all the voices of our community.

Imagine a motivated student in a Dallas high school classroom—someone who’s participated in our CREW Careers program and dreams of a future in real estate. Your support can be the bridge that turns that dream into reality.

With Gratiude

We are deeply grateful to every donor, volunteer, and CREW Dallas member who has helped us grow and thrive. While CREW Dallas members remain the foundation of our success, the need for educational opportunities and career pathways for women in commercial real estate extends far beyond our organization. We invite corporations, foundations, industry partners, and individual donors throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth community to join us in creating lasting impact. Your belief in our mission has made a lasting difference in the lives of countless women—and together, we’re building a stronger, more inclusive future for commercial real estate.
