$50,000 Goal

Founded in 2012 by MeLissa and Michael Boler, Bridges Training Foundation is a complete life center for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, their families, and the greater community. Our mission is to elevate lives beyond limits and labels toward more independent living through education and encouragement. By focusing on ability rather than disability, Bridges empowers one person, one family, and one community at a time.

Mission

"Building a Bridge to a successful tomorrow for individuals with disabilities and those that support them"

Needs

Sadly, Texas is currently one of the most underfunded states when it comes to serving people with disabilities. Bridges frequently receives calls for help from all over the state. We rely on community support to provide quality, specialized care to as many individuals as possible. Any donation we receive goes right back into serving our North and Central Texas community. Currently, our needs include funding for classroom training and workforce training.

Equity Statement

Bridges Training Foundation is an organization centered around inclusion. We believe that differences and diversity should be celebrated. As we actively work to overcome barriers for adults with disabilities, we by nature are committed to overcoming barriers for all. We work hard to create an environment with fair treatment, access, and opportunity, where everyone feels accepted and valued.
