Natural disasters impact our world every year. Whether it's a tornado, hurricane, flood or fire, these events place an unwelcoming burden on communities and the families that live there. With approximately 70% of all fire departments being staffed by volunteers, resources can be stretched thin and left unable to meet the needs of the citizens.

Minuteman Disaster Response has the resources to be able to go in and safely serve those communities to help meet unmet needs. These needs often times are filled by spontaneous, un-trained volunteers. People who have a heart to serve but may not have the training and knowledge to do so safely, ultimately becoming a part of the problem.

Our organization puts great attention on making sure we not only have the right equipment but also having the right people with the right training and knowledge to be able to answer the call in a safe and effective manner that does not become a burden to the community we are serving.

Mission

Provide assistance in the immediate aftermath of a disaster through the deployment of highly trained and equipped volunteers.
