HHM Health, a nonprofit community health center, stands at the forefront in the fight against health disparities and in providing invaluable access to top-tier healthcare for our vulnerable neighbors primarily in Vickery Meadow, with a growing presence in South Dallas and Mesquite. Since 2005, we have aimed to make quality, affordable healthcare accessible for those in our community who need it most. HHM Health's mission is to provide quality healthcare to all its neighbors with love, compassion, and respect. No person is turned away for medical care.

HHM Health is a trusted safety net for the uninsured and underinsured in the Dallas area.  Dallas has the highest rate of uninsured people in the region, with 23.6% of the population lacking any form of insurance. Further, the Commonwealth Fund ranked Texas 49th of 51 states and the District of Columbia for reproductive care and women’s health. We offer a sliding scale fee system based on income, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to receiving quality care. 

HHM Health's service lines include HHM Health operates six locations in zip codes 75231, 75243, 75204, 75150, and 75215. Our service lines include family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, nutrition, dental, vision, behavioral health, imaging, and low-cost pharmacy. In 2024, HHM Health provided 61,057 patient visits to 16,015 unique patients.

Our patients are working parents, recent immigrants, seniors, and children, many with complex, chronic conditions. There are 68 languages spoken amongst our patient population. We have 4 interpreters on staff and use a language line so that patients can access healthcare in their primary language. The demographic makeup of our patient population is as follows:

  •  45% Latinx, 
  • 28% African American, 
  • 14% Asian, 
  • 12% White, 
  • and 1% other.

$1,000 Nine Months of Prenatal Care for an Uninsured Expecting Mother

$2,500 Provide access for the uninsured for screening and diagnostic imaging ( i.e., mammogram, bone density, sonograms, and x-rays)

$5,000 Allows HHM Health to provide outreach services in Dallas and surrounding counties in underserved neighborhoods
