Texas Health Resources Foundation

A nonprofit organization

Every gift matters. Support Texas Health Resources Foundation and improve the lives of those in your community!

This North Texas Giving Day, we hope to grow our impact in the community by putting donor’s gifts to action through the following important programs:

Texas Health Community Impact invests in community health improvement through a data-driven, collaborative approach that pinpoints specific zip codes to address social determinants of health.

Wellness for Life Mobile Health Program plays a crucial role in providing no-cost health screenings to underserved residents throughout North Texas. By bringing healthcare services, such as mammography, well-woman and well-man exams, these programs contribute to reducing health disparities and providing overall community well-being.

The THRIVE Program addresses food insecurity and provides school-based resiliency training and mental health support for students in underserved schools. By working with neighborhood organizations and sponsors, in addition to the schools, THRIVE allows the community to come together to help ensure create a change in the lives of the students and families.

Health to Home Medical Respite provides medical recuperation services to adults experiencing homelessness allowing individuals to heal with dignity.  Texas Health in partnership with Austin Street provide holistic medical, behavioral health and wraparound social services to address underlying causes of homelessness and ultimately help neighbors transition into appropriate housing.

Healthy Food Access tackles the problem of hunger and lack of nutritious foods in our North Texas communities. Working with organizations and other resources within neighborhoods, Texas Health can offer programs like Good for You Pantries, Double Up Food Bucks or School Learning Gardens to improve access to healthy foods where it’s needed most.
