$50,000 Goal

The Woman's Club of Fort Worth Historical Preservation Trust (Trust) was established in 1993, as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) entity to provide funds for restoration, renovation, and maintenance of five buildings owned by The Woman's Club of Fort Worth. The Woman's Club campus covers one city block along Pennsylvania Avenue and is composed of four historic homes and an art studio. In the early 1900s when the four homes were constructed, Pennsylvania Avenue was often referred to as "Silk Stocking Row" because of the wealth of the homeowners: cattle barons, bankers, and cotton brokers. The stated purpose of the Trust is: "the preservation of the historical and architectural significance, characteristics, features and integrity of Woman's Club buildings and property."
