Your gift will have a huge impact on many lives! 

Through The Stewpot's services, you will provide:

1) 3 meals per day 365 days per day for the homeless.

2) Housing programs to move people off the streets and into their own homes.

3) Parkland medical and dental clinics and Metrocare mental health clinic onsite at The Stewpot for the homeless.

4) Getting the unhoused ID's, such as birth certificates and driver's licenses.

5)  Hygiene services, such as twice-monthly, private showers; barber shop and beauty shop services; and clothing.

6) Twice-monthly grocery distributions for low-income families.

7) Mail Services for those without an address.

8)  Art & Enrichment Programs for the homeless:

-Art studio, gallery, art shows and opportunities to sell their art. 

-STREETZine: Clients can contribute to and be paid for articles in this street newspaper published by The Stewpot. Clients also earn income by vending the paper.  

-Writers' Workshops                      

 -Horticultural Therapy

-Dallas Street Choir

9) Children, Youth and Family Program:

Children (1st grade through college) of low-income families come to The Stewpot after school and on Saturdays during the school year for a meal, homework help, enrichment activities, and time off for parents while parents take English-As-A-Second Language or parenting classes. 

This program is also available every day, all day during the summers and includes field trips, camps and other special experiences. High school students receive college scholarships.

College students receive mentoring and career counseling.
