Hi, friends:

I have the privilege of serving as Board President at Community Lifeline Center in McKinney, TX. CLC provides critical support to our Collin County neighbors in crisis, including food and financial assistance for things like rent and utilities. CLC helps families stabilize during their greatest time of need and helps them avoid becoming homeless, which strengthens our entire community.

As just one example of CLC's efforts and impact, we know there are more than 9,000 kids in McKinney alone who go to bed hungry EACH NIGHT.  We also know that chronic food insecurity results in many short-term and long-term health and development problems that can affect these kids for the rest of their lives. CLC works hard to connect the families of these 9,000 children with the support and resources they need to ensure the best-possible outcomes for the kids, their families, and the greater community.

CLC coordinates with other local organizations to deliver resources and services, including the McKinney school district, City and County government, corporate partners, faith communities, and other nonprofits - but we need YOUR FINANCIAL HELP to keep the lifeline going! Every dollar raised during North Texas Giving Day will go directly to our Collin County neighbors who need it most.

I give my time and financial support to Community Lifeline Center because working to provide hope and assistance for EVERY member of my community is important to me. Thank you for your generous support to help CLC continue this critical work!

Please join me in making a tax-deductible gift before midnight on Thursday, September 22nd.

Best,

Liz Strand Cimini
