Pittie Committee-- The Love Pit's Advocacy Team

The Love Pit's Advocacy team is working towards this fundraising goal as a way to continue to support and advocate for saving the pitbull. 

Advocacy is comprised of 5 teams: Adoption Alumni Support, Irehome, Legislation, Shelter Helpers and Next Generation. With the current state of rescue and number of dogs ending up in shelters, these teams are needed now more than ever.

1. Adoption Alumni Support: We strive to place every dog into the best suited forever home. Our team works hard to provide our adopters with all the best training and medical support possible to help every adoption be a success. This support is for life, and we firmly believe "Once a TLP dog, always a TLP dog."

2. Irehome-- We are here to help! Circumstances arise that may prevent owners from keeping their dogs, or lack the resources needed to keep them. Through our team, we are here to help responsibly rehome pets without surrendering to the shelter. Those participating in the irehome program have their dogs advertised and shared on social media platforms while receiving support and resources from our team. Irehome currently has over 74 dogs in the program!

But we cannot do this alone. TLP needs your help to expand grassroots efforts to improve the health and wellness of pit bull type dogs - and, ultimately, to save more lives.
