Celebrating 2 Years with Readers 2 Leaders

Hello, I'm Sandra Gonzalez, and I am honored to be part of the incredible team at Readers 2 Leaders. My journey in the world of development and fundraising has been a transformative one. When I first joined Readers 2 Leaders, I never imagined that I would find such a deep passion for the field of development. I have only been with the organization for 2 years now and I've had the opportunity to witness the incredible impact that our organization has on the lives of children and adults. Development isn’t just about raising funds; it's about making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. 

Readers 2 Leaders is on a mission that is deeply close to my heart — to equip students for success through the power of reading. We believe that literacy is not just a skill; it's a pathway to opportunity and freedom. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to create a Dallas where all children reach their full potential.

Anyone who knows even a little about me knows that I have always loved reading. Ever since I was little books have been my passport to other worlds, my sanctuary, and my escape. I believe that literacy isn't just about words on pages; it's about empowerment and liberation. Literacy is freedom. It unlocks doors to a universe of opportunities and enables people to lead more fulfilling lives.

This North Texas Giving Day, I am reaching out to you for support. I want to give back to the organization that has awoken a sense of purpose and passion in me.
