Got Clean Air? Support Downwinders!

This spring, I began my journey with Downwinders at Risk. In these four short months, I have been privileged to witness the way my colleagues and their communities alchemize their energies into movements that, quite frankly, have the girls* shaking.

In June 2023, the Dallas Morning News referred to Downwinders at Risk as "the most aggressive environmental group in North Texas." We'll be that. The action is quite literally about the air that Dallasites breathe, who gets to breathe cleaner air and, who could wake up one morning with a mountain of roof shingles or an industrial plant in their backyard.
