Raise money for childhood literacy in North Texas!

Third graders who are behind in reading are 4-6 times less likely to graduate from high-school, and R2L reaches children in the early elementary years who don't have access to other resources due to economic inequality and systemic racism. R2L does this through multiple programs including in-school, after-school and summer camp tutoring, as well as by providing literacy coaching to equip other nonprofits with literacy training skills. The R2L team are experts in literacy coaching and training, and are bringing these skills to much-needed areas of Dallas. 

R2L has continued to multiply its impact as literacy instruction needs have grown in our area. They impressively leveraged federal funding during Covid to double their impact in a short amount of time. I have been incredibly impressed with the organization's agility and scale, while maintaining its commitment to quality literacy instruction. They are a thought leader for this work in our region, participating in multiple partnerships (including Read Up North Texas, which is improving reading outcomes for elementary students at a broad scale).
