Building Fund for NEWRR

We are delighted to announce a significant development in our endeavors. Nature's Edge Wildlife and Reptile Rescue (NEWRR), under the guidance of its founders, Mario and Brandi Nickerson, has acquired a substantial 10-acre parcel of land in Cleburne. This marks a momentous step towards realizing Brandi's longstanding dream of establishing a comprehensive wildlife rehabilitation and education center, which has been nurtured for over 23 years.

Our vision for this expansion project includes the construction of several essential facilities. These encompass an intake and medical building, a dedicated reptile structure, and an educational facility. Additionally, we will erect bird of prey flight pens, mammal enclosures, reptile habitats, and enclosures for our educational animals and permanent residents.

However, to transform this dream into a tangible reality, we require the support and contributions of our community. Below, we have outlined various ways in which you can assist us in this noble endeavor:

- Monetary donations

- Building materials

- Fencing materials

- Assistance in constructing a small pond

- Provision of modular buildings, construction trailers, mobile homes, or metal structures

- Donations of a large storage building or conex boxes

- Support in running electrical lines

- Installation of a septic system for the Intake/Medical building

- Acquisition of a walk-in freezer

- Donation of a small tractor equipped with a bucket, mower, and disc

- Contribution of an ATV for efficient property transportation
