Richard's Ask: To Give, or Not To Give?

Richard Wolff here and I am proud to support Shakespeare Dallas as a recent addition to the 2023 Board. You can help me continue to support the organization too through North Texas Giving Day!

In joining the organization this last year, I have already seen firsthand the staff's constant energy for the programming at the park and other outreach programs. Alice and Jack have also enjoyed the organization attending a evening show and participating in the pre-show Bard Bucket ask!

There are a lot of reasons why this organization has great programming:

• We are the true people’s theatre. Our Shakespeare in the Park performances bring Shakespeare to thousands of community members each year – and are always modern, relatable, and accessible. Our casual park setting ensures everyone feels welcome.

• Shakespeare Dallas provides thousands of free tickets to community groups, park and recreation centers, and schools each year.

• We’ve reached thousands of listeners with Shakespeare Decoded, our podcast series covering the social issues of today through the lens of Shakespeare’s works.

• Each summer camp session culminates in a final performance at Samuell-Grand Park, our main venue. Along the way, students build confidence through valuable theatre and acting skills.
