Sudie TAG Give Day: It's the biggest fundraiser of the year for Sudie Williams TAG!
Hello ! My name is Julien King and I am a 4th Grader this year at Sudie Williams TAG. Will you join me in supporting my school so we have the funding to contribute to students needs, teacher and principal wish lists, creative gifted and talented programming, after-school activities, school beautification, special events, and so much more? Our school's goal is to raise $100,000 from September 1-21 and every dollar helps!
This year we are celebrating six years as Sudie L. Williams Talented and Gifted Middle School! We are so proud to celebrate so many milestones achieved along the way, including:
- Destination Imagination (DI) going to Globals.
- Ranking #2 public school in Dallas and #6 in Texas.
- DISD Fall & Spring U.S. Chess Tournament champions.
- 50+ middle school qualifiers in the Texas Math Science Coaches Association (TMSCA) State Championship.
- 1st place at STEM Exposition in Coding.
- 1st place team finish at the UIL Music Memory competition.
- 10 gold and silver medalists at DISD debate tournaments.
- 1st and 2nd place rankings in elementary Robotics.
- Outstanding accomplishments in Sudie sports teams, including basketball, flag football, cheer, soccer, volleyball, track and field, tennis, and lacrosse.
Your support is so essential in our continued growth and success, as we build our legacy as a leading TAG school in our city, our state, and in the nation.
Our funding needs for this school year are even greater because of the loss of our Title 1 funding, which supports students in need. Though this funding of $50,000 has not been continued this year, our Sudie TAG community's need is still great, and we are committed to supporting our students and meeting their needs. Will you help fill this gap in funding for my school and those students in need?
