Many children go without food over the winter break. Our goal is to supply them with snacks to keep them going until they return to school. We serve children in Birdville, Fort Worth, and Keller ISD's. We have been asked to supply 6,000 students with snacks and gift cards for this time period. With our resources and connections, our dollar goes a lot farther than yours to attain these items.
The breakdown of services is as follows.
- 46,460 students qualify for our services.
- Snacks and hygiene products cost $46,800 per 10 schools a year.
- Materials are $1,200 per 10 schools a year.
- Transportation is $4,800 per 10 schools a year.
- We spend roughly $76,800 per 10 schools a year.
- Our after school tutoring/mentoring program(H.A.N.G.) costs $50,850 per year.
