Foster kittens like Goo need you!

We all have our reason why - why we foster, volunteer, and donate funds. Kittens like Goo are my reason. Please donate to support Dallas Cat Lady and others like her! Here is a bit of her story.

Goo came to me from a local shelter, separated from her family due to a severe head tilt and not developing as quickly as her litter mates. She rolled instead of crawling, causing concern that she would ever be a "normal" kitten. She was scheduled to be euthanized, but who could look at that face and not give her a chance? I emailed immediately to get her.

Goo was a great eater and grew like a weed. She struggled with learning to walk but was clearly determined to run and play like her foster siblings despite the constant tilt of her head. Her vet said that she might outgrow it since the cause of the tilt seemed to be fluid in one ear and only a tiny opening on that side. 

Soon, Goo was able to walk, jump, and play with her foster kitten siblings, though with a slightly wobbly, crooked or sideways gait. Nothing stopped her, not even that adorable but disorienting head tilt. 

After a few weeks, we could see that Goo was going to beat the odds! Her head tilt slowly lessened and her mobility was improving daily. Goo now runs around and you'd be hard pressed to tell that she'd ever been different! 

Dallas Cat Lady made it possible for Goo to have the chance to grow up by providing the time, veterinary care, food and other support she needed.
