Journey Forward Mentoring is the new name of Leadership Forward! With a firm belief that success is not a destination but a continuous journey of growth and self-discovery, we adopted a new name that reflects our commitment to guiding students through the intricate pathways of education, career exploration, and personal development. By embracing the importance of the journey, we empower students to not only envision their future, but to actively shape it. Together with our dedicated mentors, we're here to inspire, support, and propel students towards realizing their full potential, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and confidence to thrive not only in their chosen careers, but in life as a whole.

Journey Forward Mentoring is a Dallas-based non-profit that connects volunteer mentors to high school students in the Oak Cliff neighborhood in Southern Dallas. These mentors serve as resources, confidants, and role models for students looking to realize their potential and, with academic and career planning resources provided by Journey Forward Mentoring, they engage these young people build lasting relationships that often results in these students reaching a level of academic performance and professional/post-secondary education readiness they didn't previously think was possible. 

Currently, the organization has more interest from students seeking mentorship than it can consistently manage. Your gift to Journey Forward Mentoring will help the organization build capacity and serve more of these driven young people.
