$10,000 to Celebrate 10 Years at Readers 2 Leaders

Hello! I'm Lisa Dickerson and I am proud to be the Vice President of Operations at Readers 2 Leaders. I joined the Readers 2 Leaders team in August 2013 as a Reading Instructor. At that time, the organization was less than 2 years old and I was only the 3rd full time employee. 10 years later we have grown to 25 employees and have provided reading tutoring and training to over 5,000 children and adults! It has been exciting and inspiring to watch Readers 2 Leaders grow and develop, right alongside our students!

This North Texas Giving Day, I want to give back to the organization that has helped me grow personally and professionally for 10 years by raising $10,000 to support our mission to equip students for success through the power of reading. Your donation will help Readers 2 Leaders continue to provide reading tutoring to students in need of additional support and coach the adults teaching students in schools and community organizations across Dallas. With YOUR support, WE will support over 1,800 students and adults in the 2023-2024 school year!

North Texas Giving Day is on Thursday, September 21st, but early giving opened on September 1st, so you can donate now until September 21st.
