Pretty With Purpose

Pretty With Purpose is a mentoring and leadership program (501)(C)(3) with a mission made to impact young ladies mentally, spiritually and physically. We cover every aspect of a girl's life from teaching young ladies to embrace their self-confidence, walking with their heads held high, valuing high morals and ethical standards, showing them how to be modest and always act with class. We are also here to help prepare them for college and beyond, by providing tutoring and the skills needed to apply for grants and scholarships, interviewing techniques and most importantly teaching financial responsibility with showing them the importance of how their decisions today affects their lives tomorrow. Another aspect of this program is showing them that health and fitness is a vital aspect of their life that must to be taken care of. We also make sure our Pretty with Purpose mentees have the opportunities to engage in community service which enables students to acquire life skills and knowledge, as well as provides a service to those who needs it the most. PWP is here to help young ladies pursue their passion and fulfill their purpose. The mentors are there to be a role model and an impact upon these girls lives. They are there to help them stay on track with their goals upon entering the program. PWP help provide single moms with the resources needed to be the best mom they can be and still achieve their goals and having the ambition with giving them the support that is needed. We provide scholarships for those who qualify. PWP is a life changing and phenomenal experience that every young lady will benefit from.

Our Needs

As a organization we would like a facility for the different activities and events that are held within this organization. We pray to have all of the resources that is needed for us to cover the specific services that is provided within this program for the young ladies. Making sure that they have scholarships and assisting them with the process to make sure they are able to attend College, therefore teaching them how to write scholarships and grants themselves, their academics are at high standards which they have no excuse because we offer tutoring and a book club. We are here to inform these girls how important financial literacy is including having good credit. Making sure we have enough funds to hold the different events so that we can enforce they way young ladies should carry themselves such as with class, modesty, elegance, etiquette, walking and sitting with postures. Teaching them to embrace themselves and learn the importance of self-Confidence. Informing these young ladies how health and fitness is very important.

Additionally, we pray to being able to provide all of the resources that is needed to embrace who they are therefore they can find themselves within fully to being able to fulfill their purpose. Leaving this program knowing the importance of leadership and the professionalism in this society. Teaching them the importance of giving back to their community to make a difference.
