$3,000 Goal

Our women and young girls are empowered to recognize their boundless potential and pursue their dreams fearlessly. We equip teenage girls with a toolkit that fosters their personal, emotional, and professional growth.

Through our life skills programs, women and girls cultivate positive behaviors essential for independent adulthood, boost self-esteem, and nurture healthy social and emotional development.

Our Queen's In Training workshops provide a nurturing space for girls to explore their identities while honing skills crucial for their journey through adolescence and beyond. We impart skills that often go beyond the conventional school curriculum, encompassing independent living and confidence-building.

In our Queens In Training program, we offer a diverse range of modules that encompass essential life skills. These modules cover Leadership, Entrepreneurship, STEM, Body Central, Money Talks, Podcasting, Literacy, and Life Skills—all topics that are not just educational but also highly practical for everyday use.

Our women's program provides vital tools for bridging the gender divide in leadership positions, bringing together women of different generations to share experiences, and creating connections between seasoned women leaders and the upcoming generation, fostering growth, and leadership development among women. Our program aids in diminishing the gender gap in leadership roles, as it provides opportunities for established women to pass on their knowledge and provide encouragement to the next generation of female leaders.

Mission

Our mission is to empower and amplify the leadership and voices of women and girls. "We Are HER" is dedicated to driving positive change and amplifying the voices of young women of color.

Our vision is a community where every young woman possesses the tools to make informed choices, cultivate healthy relationships, and achieve self-sufficiency. Through mentorship, we nurture her aspirations and ambitions, encouraging her to thrive and reach her full potential. We wholeheartedly uphold our motto:

DEEM! This means developing their character, equipping their minds, empowering their dreams, and mentoring our young female future leaders.

Needs

1. Mentors and Volunteers are our primary need.

2. Office/Storage Space- We are a resource for the youth and their households, and the clothes, shoes, and product donations we receive need to be sorted, divided, and packaged for our community giveaways, so having a place to prepare would be great.

3. We are seeking partners to collaborate with us on our Feminine Hygiene Initiative, which aims to provide essential feminine hygiene products to underprivileged young girls who may not have access to them.

4. We are in search of donors and funders who share the same passion and mission as our initiative.

Equity Statement

To promote the realization of every individual's full potential, "We Are HER" is dedicated to advocating for fairness in all aspects of our organization. We firmly believe that diversity enriches our collective strength, and our commitment is to cultivate an inclusive, secure, and welcoming environment for all.
