$80,000 Goal

St. Francis of Assisi is a vibrant, diverse, and colossal Catholic Church founded originally as a missionary parish by approximately 12 Spanish speaking families seeking to live their faith and to serve the local community.  Since its founding, St. Francis has grown to an estimated 14,000 families, which equates to approximately 47,000 parishioners representing multiple cultures. St. Francis supports the Frisco, Prosper, Celina, Little Elm, Princeton, and surrounding Collin County areas. St. Francis is a dynamic parish with many passionate families and parishioners willing to serve and seeking to grow in their faith. It is also a diverse community representing a vast number of different cultures and nationalities. This melting pot of a faith community is comprised of individuals with contrasting schools of thought, interests, and preferences of expressing their faith and worshipping.

More than ever, we are all longing for a sense of community. Help us fill this need by supporting your discipleship experience at St. Francis of Assisi

Mission

The Mission Statement of St. Francis of Assisi is the same Mission Statement that Jesus gave his eleven disciples (the Great Commissioning) found in the last chapter of Matthew.

The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them. When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted. Then Jesus approached and said to them, “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age."

MATTHEW 28:16-20

Needs

Last year, thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised over $100,000 for our coffee shop and gathering space in the Great Hall Foyer. We have been hard at work with coffee shop planning. We are in final stages of City of Frisco Permit review and approval and plan to start construction in the Great Hall very soon.

This year, our goal is to raise $80,000! These funds will go toward several speaker systems and technology upgrades that will be installed outside in the courtyards and in the meeting rooms in the Parish Center. These upgrades contribute to our parish's strategic goal of improving our campus in order to support our mission of Matthew 28.

These new systems will offer great benefits to our parishioners, including:

• Bluetooth connectivity access in meeting rooms and outside

• Audio in Church/Mass projected to outdoor speakers in courtyard

• Special Events audio available outside in courtyard
