Rockwall County Helping Hands has been providing help and hope to your neighbors since 1976. We believe that no one in Rockwall County should go without food, shelter, or essential medical care. Supporters like YOU help us meet the needs of those with nowhere else to turn. YOU make it possible for us to open our doors each day and provide critical services and programs in our community.
The Need in Rockwall County
The need in Rockwall County is surging at an unprecedented rate - in the month of August, we provided critical support to a little over 3,700 individuals, including helping hundreds of families keep their lights on, water running, and roofs overhead, this amounted to around $51,000 in critical emergency financial assistance.
Food insecurity is escalating just as quickly: our pounds of food distributed are up 48% over last year, with over 77,000 pounds of food distributed to local families in August alone. We need your support now more than ever to ensure no neighbor goes without food, shelter, or medical care.
Rockwall County Helping Hands strives to ensure that no one in Rockwall County goes to bed hungry, without a roof overhead, or is deprived of needed medical care.
