An important part of the Our Productions Theatre Co.'s mission is the educational development of future artists. We have an excellent year round training program, Young Artist Training Program, which provides professional training to school aged children and college students in an inclusive, safe place. In addition to that, our Adult Educational Workshops including Musical Theatre Workshop, Play Writer's Club and Play Readers Club meets regular through the winter allowing local playwrights a platform to have a reading and discussion of their works by both patrons and professionals at our free community reading nights. Our performances include a youth and family production each spring melding current professionals with future professional artists. In order to make our programs accessible and inclusive for ALL, we also offer many free & low cost outreach events to the community - from writing, to musical theatre for youth/adults/teens, to open mic nights, to free community performances - along with pay-what-you-can tickets to EVERY performance & tuition assistance to our outstanding educational offerings, we strive to make sure everybody can benefit and participate in Our Productions Theatre Co. & Young Artist Training Program while still preserving our legacy of excellence.

We proudly use Actors' Equity Association Contracts, the union of professional actors and stage managers.

We hope you will visit us at one of our events!

Our Needs

Our Productions is seeking funds to continue our works as mentioned above and to continue to provide free and discounted professional performing arts to the community as needed, as well as to provide need-based scholarships for children to professionally train or intern in the performing arts. We can not support our activities on ticket sales alone. Your contribution makes a BIG impact to us and allows us to do our work.

Mission

To develop cultural growth in North Texas, by challenging audiences through presentation of new, diverse, and classic theatrical productions for both adults and children; raising awareness of important issues through performance; fostering the educational development of future artists; and preserving the heritage of live theatrical performances for both current and future generations since 1993.

We produce little shows with BIG heart and educate the next generation of artistic professionals. Help us continue our work!

Needs

We are seeking donations to support the work of Our Productions Theatre Co. and our Young Artist Training Program. Thank you for your support.
