Our biggest event is an annual Military Ball. The Ball celebrated its 55th consecutive annual event in 2019. Established in 1965 as the Dallas Military Ball by representatives of the Air Force Association, Association of the U S Army, Navy League, Marine Corps Association, Reserve Officers Association of the US and other Reserve and National Guard organizations, NTMF has become a unified military voice for the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. Dedicated to honoring both Active and Reserve forces, the Military Ball offers a unique opportunity to salute those who are serving, thank those who have served and pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Underwritten by North Texas citizens and business organizations, the Military Ball is a formal affair complete with military pageantry, a strong military presence and entertainment. This annual event is an opportunity for the community to meet members of our Armed Forces including the senior leadership. The primary purpose of the Ball is to honor the military and net proceeds generated from the Ball are distributed to military relief agencies such as Army Emergency Relief, Air Force Aid, Coast Guard Mutual Assistance and the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. Since the first Ball several million dollars have been distributed to these organizations.
Support of the NTMF demonstrates your commitment to support our active and reserve military men and women. The generosity of our sponsors makes it possible for the annual Ball to contribute more to military relief agencies that are assisting our military members and their families on active duty.
Funds raised will be collected and further distributed to Department of Defense recognized relief agencies and also support local military oriented not for profit organizations in the DFW area.
The North Texas Military Foundation honors active duty, reserve, and retired military members and veterans. All funds go to support military and veteran-centric local charities to include Army Emergency Relief, Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, Coast Guard Mutual Assistance and the Air Force Aid Society.
The North Texas Military Foundation supports the US military, veterans and their families and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, nationality, ethnic background, religion or sexual preference or sexual identity.
