Junior League of Arlington is dedicated to developing leadership and volunteerism in women. Our organization trains women to be effective leaders and impactful volunteers. In addition to providing leadership training for our members, our organization works on volunteer projects focused on preventing abuse in the community.

Since our inception, JLA has been pivotal in many Arlington service projects: River Park Legacy, Back to School Kick Off, Glass Slipper Boutique, MAY Program. Today, we continue our legacy of serving the greater Arlington area through our abuse prevention projects.

Our Focus: Abuse of any kind should never occur. Among its many outreach programs, the Junior League of Arlington focuses specifically on the prevention of physical, emotional, and psychological abuse. The JLA aims to challenge abuse through educational and charitable initiatives.

Equity Statement

The Association of Junior Leagues International condemns discrimination, racism, and racial injustice in our communities and in our Junior Leagues. Black women and other women of color have been systemically denied equity and inclusion in our economy, education, civic privileges, and responsibilities in the voluntary sector, including in The Junior League. As affirmed by our member Junior Leagues, we are accelerating our efforts to take action and advance definitive, measurable policies and practices that eliminate racism in our countries, our communities, and our Junior Leagues. When we do this, we unlock tremendous power for our communities and realize our vision of women around the world as catalysts for lasting change.
