Imagine how it feels to a child battling cancer to know that only 4% of government-funded cancer research (NCI) focuses on childhood cancer? That means it is up to organizations like Fabulous Faith's Foundation to fill the gap. With about 1 in every 285 children diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20, this is a daunting task, but your contributions make a difference in 3 important ways: Research, Family Assistance, and Facility Assistance.
Pediatric Cancer Research-Fabulous Faith's Foundation is committed to funding cutting-edge research that holds the most promise for supporting our belief that a cure will be found. We also focus on projects that have the potential to benefit a diverse population of children with cancer.
Family Assistance-We provide grants to families struggling with the financial burdens that are common during a child's cancer journey. Many times, at least one parent will lose their job while caring for the sick child. This battle is hard enough without worrying about how to pay the electric bill or how to put gas in the car to get to treatment.
Facility Assistance-"It takes a village" is a true statement when it comes to childhood cancer treatment. Children fighting cancer receive services from countless departments within the main hospital and often at many support facilities as well. Fabulous Faith's Foundation aids these programs so that we can ensure we are supporting all aspects of the cancer journey.
At Fabulous Faith's Foundation, "We Believe In A Cure" is not just a tagline, but it is in our hearts and drives all that we do because we know God is bigger than childhood cancer. Matthew 17:20 - "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
