$20,000 Goal

Coat Program - Since the 1960s, The Exchange Club of Dallas has provided thousands of winter jackets and coats for our kids each year. Last year the club purchased and distributed 3,600 new coats during its annual Coats for Kids program.

Vision Program - Recognizing that undetected vision problems impair learning and disrupt classrooms, we proudly work with the Essilor Vision Foundation in a program whereby club members are trained to perform vision screenings. Prior to COVID we were able to help over 500 students annually to obtain free eye-glasses through our partnership with Essilor Vision.

Educational Support Program - We believe that every child should have the opportunity to reach his or her full potential. Accordingly, we seek out educational support programs that helps students, teachers and schools achieve success. Whether is it providing free weekly readers or funding school field trips to the Perot Museum and NASA, The Exchange Club of East Dallas offers funds to help our schools and their students. We even help students with school uniforms, computers, and buy pizzas for those attending Saturday tutoring and school.

Our Needs

Our kids need - Eye Glasses - Computers/Tablets - Grade Level Weekly Readers - Required School Uniforms - Up to date equipment: Lab, Music, and Art Equipment so they can compete with the children in the higher end school districts, Supplies so teachers don't have to write personal checks to get the kids what they need.
