Our Board of directors is comprised of business and civic leaders who guide our ship through sunny days and turbulent times. The outcome of 2020 resulted in our definition of what's most important to accomplish in 2021 and beyond. We will assist Social Enterprises like Seeds 2 STEM through leadership, collaboration, and advocacy to recover from the pandemic. This team of directors is ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work. We are eager to gain insights and listen to fresh ideas as we work through our Game Plan.

One of our strategic priorities is to cultivate a healthy and transparent fiscal practice. Passionate and dedicated leadership is the foundation of a strong Board, and our new class will enrich our work with their unique skillsets and experiences.

Our Needs

Our current agency needs revolve around strategic partners to help assist with our Mobile Science Lab procurement for our community partnership with Seeds 2 STEM. We are looking for partners to volunteer during the school day at our In-School Fields trips for our Mobile Science Lab and build DIY Kits and other resources to use in our Mobile Science Lab.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or if you would like more information about our agency needs.

Mission

Our mission at Educate to Innovate is to provide STEM education services and support to In and Out of School time programs with the help of Seeds 2 STEM for families with low to moderate-income in North Texas.

Needs

STEM professions, particularly in the United States, face a consistent problem with a lack of diversity in the field. A Pew Study revealed that this is due to the early lack of access to consistent, high-quality STEM education opportunities and the lack of encouragement for minority students to pursue STEM fields.

Through our Mobile STEM Lab that provides hands-on STEM programming, we bring directly to students of color, removing the access barrier to high-quality. We believe that students who are nurtured through hands-on, STEM, culturally relevant learning experiences will inspire them to excel in STEM subjects and influence students to pursue STEM careers.

Our current agency revolves around strategic partners to help assist with our Mobile Science Lab procurement for our community partnership with Seeds 2 STEM.
