Easterseals Lonestar (ESLS) in North Texas has a long-standing history in our community of providing unique programs and services for individuals with a wide variety of disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Alzheimer's disease, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Mental and Developmental Delays. Over the past several decades, ESLS has expanded services to meet the evolving needs of children and adults with disabilities and their caregivers across the lifespan.
All services provided by ESLS in North Texas play a critical role in the lives of children and adults with disabilities and their families by helping them maximize their independence in order to lead healthy, productive, and social lives. Since 1939, ESLS has provided an array of community living and employment-focused services work, primarily, with adults and transition-age youth to help individuals with disabilities live, work and play in the community, rather than living out their lives in an institutional setting, such as a nursing home or state school.
